Our Services

School/University Placements

We will offer advice and engage with you on the iterative journey of short-listing establishments and taking a decision based on holistic considerations including your and the candidate’s thoughts and feedback, school ethos and tenets, geographical location, accommodation, pastoral care provision, academic and extra-curricular offerings, fees and general support offered.

Administration is made much lighter for you by ensuring that all documentation is completed, checked and submitted to the school(s) in good time and once decisions are taken, we see things through until admission is secured and the ‘student’ resumes at their new establishment.

After resumption, we continue to liaise with the school and the boarding house where appropriate and make visits as required and appropriate until our ward is fully settled.

Educational Management and Welfare

Plan for entire Education Journey

At whatever juncture of education, we will work with you to strategically plan the entire education journey and pointedly choose the next institute for your child/ward that matches your aspirations for them and more importantly their personal educational and care needs.

Examination Preparation

Rich-Schools works with student (and family) to ensure that their time is well-spent on planned preparation and gaining confidence for the student in readiness for the next milestone exam.

We work to help create plans and where necessary to arrange sessions with tutors or time at a summer school or study camp.  The idea is not to overburden the student but to help them prepare and gain confidence to prove that they are ready for the next step having gained sufficient requisite knowledge.

Education Assessment and Special Education Needs

Oftentimes children are lead to a lonely place of not being able to cope with the pressures of the classroom and social development simply because of systemic failures in effectively assessing their needs and matching them to a school that is skilled at developing children and their individual strengths and talent.

We do not stop at recommending schools but where necessary work with qualified and experience education psychologists to carry out assessments that sets the tone for an appropriate and effective education plan for each child.

When a child is adjudged to have learning difficulties or special needs and we have matched the child to a suitable school of your choosing, we work with the school to agree support plans and monitor your child’s progress.  We want our children to have as full an experience at their educational institution and not suffer frustration or sadness because of a struggle to cope or keep up with their peers.

Working with Schools

We have and continue to build amiable and productive relationships with independent schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions across the U.K.

Our emphasis is working to ensure the well-rounded development of our children while supporting their wider family

Keeping the family together is important to us.  We therefore work to maintain contact and communication between child and parents and siblings.  At Rich-Schools we are actively seeking ways to bring siblings together during and outside of term-times and organize guardians and activities that accommodate uniting children of the same family.

Some of our children also ask us to arrange activities for them and their friends and it is always a pleasure for us to do so.

Activities can be in or outside of the U.K.

Some of our children have been on Art trips to Spain and History trips to France.  Many more have enjoyed joint trips within the U.K. to cinema’s, shopping centres; go-karting, indoor skiing and trampolining centres.

University Admission

What is university about?  Is it necessary that I go to university?  I would like to go to university but have no clue what I would like to study?  I know what I would like to study but do not know which university I would like to attend?  I know where I would like to study but have no clue what I will do after my degree?  I know what I would like to do after my degree but wouldn’t know where to start looking for a job?

How on earth do I get my student visa application accepted?

Are any of these your questions or those of a child of yours?  Please contact us for free consultation as we can answer them all and help you through the process of preparing yourself or your child for university (or an alternative tertiary programme) and ultimately for life as a responsible, contributing and successful member of society.

Some of our students enter university directly on to an undergraduate course whilst others do so via foundation programmes.  The latter in our case are better equipped by that additional assistance to join up effectively with their peers in the work place.  We see foundation programmes as advantageous access to a university programme and an ultimate career that may otherwise have been missed – as the saying goes, “there are many ways to skin a cat”.

We understand the university admissions and points system and support our students with the UCAS process, special sector examinations and personal statements.  We are also forthright and honest in regard to suitability for institutions.

Whilst we have successfully supported Oxbridge and Ivy League admissions; we also have testimonies of successful members of society whose successful route to market was not via university.

It is important that the right university and course are chosen and just as important that an assessment of the student’s likelihood of coping with and enjoying life at the chosen university are well assessed.  This is a responsibility that we do not take lightly.  We work closely with our students to manage their well-being and to ensure that they are as prepared as possible for life in the real world after uni through research, company visits, work experience and liaison with young adults who have already walked their journey and can offer friendly advice.

We also support graduates in identifying and accessing post-graduate programmes that complement their career progression plans.
